Bicycle accidents tend to end with severe injuries for the cyclists. They have no protection so when a car hits them, even if the vehicle isn’t speeding, the injuries will be severe.
Usually, cyclists end with traumatic brain injuries, broken bones and spine injuries not from the impact itself, but after they hit the ground.
If you were injured in a similar accident and the accident was clearly caused by the other party, you should get legal help.
Your injuries might be life-threatening and the entire medical treatment will be expensive.
What you need to do is file a compensation claim against the driver’s insurance company and seek a settlement for all the expenses such as lost wages, medical bills and other injury-related expenses.
A good attorney should know how to help you with your case. It’s important not to give up until you get a suitable settlement that will cover all your costs.
