Erin Skuce

I take pride in being a passionate advocate for my clients.  I truly believe that to be a true advocate, one must not only treat everyone with courtesy and respect but also listen. Through my experience, knowledge, and ability to bring people together, I have been able to achieve successful resolution for my clients through not only pre-trial settlements, but also at trial.  Perhaps the most rewarding part of my job is seeing and connecting with my past clients within the community and knowing that I was a part of helping them achieve a resolution that allowed them to move forward.

Throughout my career spanning nearly two decades, I have made my mark as a trial lawyer by combining legal acumen, hard work, dedication, and compassion.  I began my career at a boutique personal injury firm where it was my pleasure and honor to assist severely injured clients obtain pre-trial settlements and verdicts.  I went on to handle cases for insurance companies working first as in-house counsel and then at a civil litigation firm, where I became an equity partner.  Now, after nearly 12 years of representing defendants in personal injury lawsuits and trials, and armed with knowledge of the strategies used by insurance companies to defend, strategies I once effectively employed, I have returned to my true passion, providing a source of comfort and security for my clients while advocating for them until they receive what they are owed. 

In my down time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my two children.  I am a staunch supporter of their interest in hockey.  On any given weekend you may find me at up to five different hockey rinks or perhaps taking in a game at my alma mater RIT, where my husband drives the Zamboni.
